Saturday: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. East northeast wind between 5 and 14 mph.

Saturday Night: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. East wind between 6 and 9 mph becoming calm.

Independence Day: A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89. East wind between 7 and 10 mph.

Sunday Night: A 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71.

Monday: A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90.

Monday Night: A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70.

Forecast Details: scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over northeast Florida this weekend mainly south of I-10. the main concerns will be lightning and locally heavy rainfall.

An increased threat of rip currents is expected at area beaches this weekend as easterly winds increase and seas build.
