Saturday Night: A 20 % chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 74. East wind between 5 and 8 mph becoming calm.
Sunday: A 40 % chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 94. Calm wind becoming southeast between 4 and 7 mph.
Sunday Night: A 30 % chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.
Above normal high temperatures in the 90s each day will continue to push heat index into the 100 to 105 degree range each afternoon.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected each day. The stronger stormswill be capable of frequent lightning and gusty winds.
Saturday trailing moisture plume and middle level energy continuing over the County Warning Area through Saturday with precipitable waters at or above 2.2 inches. With a prevailing Easterly flow regime probability of precipitation will first impact our eastern zones Saturday morning and then shift farther inland Saturday afternoon as the trough axis shifts west of the area and drier air begins to filter over the County Warning Area from the east once again.
Sunday drier air will continue over our eastern zones while better moisture and shallow sea breeze induced forcing is expect to occur near the I-75 corridor during the afternoon/evening.
Temperatures will continue to be warm in the low/middle 90s with humid conditions due to increasing moisture values. Heat index will near 105 degree each afternoon through Sunday.
