The next front is expected to cross the area on Christmas day. Models bomb surface low off the middle-Atlantic Seaboard on Saturday. European model (ECMWF) and Canadian models begin to develop surface low closer to the local area prior to this, while the latest GFS begins to develop surface low over the Southern Appalachians. This will have an impact on precipitation coverage. For now have capped probability of precipitation at 30% ahead of the front.
