Monday WX Outlook...

Today: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. East northeast wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. East-northeast wind between 5 and 8 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

A front will remained draped across the Florida portion for much of the day while and are of upper level energy moves in off the Gulf. The combination of these features will allow for an increase in shower activity from south to north. The most substantial rainfall will be found this afternoon south of the I-10 corridor. In this same area, isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon with overall strength of activity expected to be weak with cloud to ground lightning the main concern.

Today's allergy levels: 9/High-Medium; predominant pollen: Oak, Cedar/Juniper and Myrtle/Bayberry.
