Now
A brisk northeast to east flow will linger through the morning. These winds will continue to push low clouds and fog into the interior. Visibilities will be a half mile or less in areas around Gainesville.

Today
Patchy dense fog early in the morning with visibility one quarter mile or less at times. Partly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight
Mostly cloudy. Warmer. Slight chance of showers in the evening, hen chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows around 60. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 %.

Hazardous Weather
Dense sea fog over the local Atlantic waters has spread inland across the forecast area, dense fog will be more localized. the fog will likely hang around through the mid-morning hours on tuesdaybefore lifting during the late morning hours.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible tonight as a cold front advances into the area. locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds may accompany these storms.

Forecast Details
Across the County Warning Area, dense fog will likely be more localized. Morning fog and low clouds will give way to partly/mostly cloudy skies late this morning and into the afternoon. Deep southerly winds will drive afternoon temperatures into the 70s across northeast Florida.

A vigorous storm system out west is forecast to lift well to the north tonight, but wil drag a cold front through the area late tonight and into Wednesday.
