Now : Scattered showers will move continue to move through northeast Florida with isolated heavier showers moving into the I-75 corridor between Gainesville and Ocala. Most of the showers are light and moving east at 20 miles an hour.

Tonight: A 20 % chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. North wind between 3 and 6 mph.
Hazardous Weather: Tonight cold and dry air will funnel across the area. Freezing temperatures are expected shortly after midnight across inland areas.
Forecast Details: Patchy fog has settled in over the area following showers and isolated thunderstorms associated with a broad surface trough. The cold front will continue to move southeast over the forecast area. Temperatures are currently in the 40s/50s.
Today precipitation should end from northwest to southeast. Will be an overall damp and cool day with maximum temperatures in the 50s across the majority of the forecast area in the upper 50s/lower 60s across the southeastern counties. Rainfall amounts will generally range between from a tenth to a quarter of an inch across northeastern Florida.
Tonight the cold front will settle across central Florida and a surface low will begin to develop north of the Bahamas. Partly cloudy skies will linger over the area with a few light showers possible south of a line from St. Augustine to Ocala. Cold air will move into the area and lows in tthe upper 30s across the Suwannee River valley in northeastern Florida. Will issue freeze watch for the Suwannee River valley due to likely below freezing low temperatures. Wind chill values will likely fall into the 20s by early Saturday morning.
