Hazardous Weather: rain will continue along and north of the I-10 corridor resulting in wet roadways as low pressure forms in the Gulf of Mexico. As the low shifts east across the Florida peninsula, additional showers will develop with most locations receiving beneficial rainfall today.
Forecast Details:. frontal boundary has stalled across the middle of the forecast area with very little change in position since last night. Low pressure over north/central Gulf is prognosticated to track across Florida Peninsula today before exiting into the
Atlantic this evening. Models tend to show divided areas of rain with southeast Georgia receiving rain this morning, but bulk of rain is south of the forecast area. As weak low crosses Florida, best chances for rain this afternoon will be along front and also over southern tier with influx of moisture off Gulf.
