Low Wind Chills This Morning With Another Hard Freeze Tonight... 
Today:   Sunny, with a high near 48. Wind chill values as low as 26 early. Breezy, with a northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 21. Northwest wind between 3 and 6 mph. 

Hazardous Weather: very cold air over the area will produce a hard freeze early this morning with lows in the mid 20s inland and upper 20s at the coast. Strong winds will produce dangerous wind chills in the teens this morning. A hard freeze is expected again tonight with much lighter winds.

There will be an elevated fire danger today due to low humidity and strong winds.

Forecast Details: intensifying Nor'easter low now off Long Island continues moving north-northeast. Tight pressure gradient extends over our area with strong northwest winds producing wind chills in the 20's and teens by dawn. Wind Chill Advisory in effect this morning until 10 am with hard freeze warning until 9 am as temperatures will be slow to rise this morning. Stratocumulus clouds have decreased over the area as subsidence increases. Expect mostly sunny and breezy conditions today. Winds won't be quite as strong as yesterday and remain just below lake Wind Advisory criteria. High pressure will move towards the area tonight weakening the gradient and winds. Light winds will allow a hard freeze with lows in the lower 20s expected inland. Have upgraded freeze watch to a warning for tonight. Another freeze watch will likely be needed over northeast Florida Tuesday night will hold off issuance for now due to numerous ongoing headlines. Warming trend will be established by Wednesday with surface high center over the area and ridging aloft. High temperatures will rebound to near 60 degrees by Wednesday afternoon.

Winds will be lighter tonight producing even colder temperatures.Low temperatures tonight will fall into the lower 20s inland tthe mid 20s at the coast.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a red flag warning which is in effect from 11 am to 6 pm EST Tuesday. The red flag warning is now in effect from 11 am this morning to 6 pm EST this evening. 

A dry air mass will continue to funnel over the area today. Relative humidities will fall below critical values for durations of 5 to 7hours. In addition sustained northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph are forecast.
