...Dry Weather To Continue Through The Weekend...

Veterans Day: Sunny, with a high near 77. Breezy, with a east wind between 10 and 15 mph.

Tonight:  Patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 49. Northeast wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Hazardous weather: dry air will continue to produce dangerous fire weather conditions during the afternoon across inland northeast Florida.

Forecast Details:. a broad high pressure ridge at surface and aloft continues to dominate the region from the eastern Gulf Coast of Mexico to Ohio Valley to Great Lakes. Mostly clear to occasional partly cloudy skies over the region as thin cirrus skirts pass our north and central zones. Fog channel and observation show patchy fog/areas of low stratus across our southern zones with local visibility half a mile or less. Temperatures are in the middle 40s inland to lower to middle 50s along the coast. Even getting temperatures of 60-70 degree readings right along the coast due to northeasterly flow developing as high pressure rebuilds north and northeast of the forecast area. Weak low level convergence is noted along the coast.

Today through Friday prevailing low level flow will be northeasterly raising low level moisture values and lowering 850 mb temperatures. Highs today will be a few degrees lower than they have been with middle to upper 70s expected, with highs on Friday in the lower to middle 70s. Breezy conditions possible along the coastal counties south of Fernandina and at this time winds do not appear to meet Lake Wind Advisory conditions. A few marine showers possible in the coastal waters with a few sprinkles possible along the coast later today through Friday. Lows tonight in the middle 40s inland and near 60 along the coast. Over southern zones late tonight, a combination of moisture and lighter winds may allow for patchy fog to form again.

Today's Pollen Levels: 2.9 Low Medium (on a scale to 12); Predominate Pollen:Ragweed
