Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 58. North wind between 3 and 5 mph.
Forecast Details: MSAS analysis showing remnants of Nicole across the middle Atlantic region. A trough was moving southeast across the region. Drier air was filtering into the region under mostly clear skies with dew point temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. Water vapor imagery was showing long wave trough extending from southern Canada to the central Gulf with strong subsidence aloft wrapping around it across the southeast U.S.
Friday, as the surface trough swings through this morning, a dry air mass moves in providing mostly sunny, dry and slightly above normal temperatures. With the dry air in place tonight, lows are forecast to fall into the middle/upper 50s inland. A developing onshore flow along the coast will bring in a few clouds and keep lows there about 10 degrees warmer.
