...Red Flag Warning In Effect From Noon Today To 7 Pm EDT This Evening Due To Low Relative Humidity Values...

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 7 pm EDT this evening.
A dry air mass will continue today with relative humidity forecast to fall below 35 % for 4 to 6 hours.

Did you know that...

Small Hurricane King made landfall in Miami, FL on this date in 1950 with sustained winds of over 120 mph and gusts up to 150 mph. Forecasters initially thought the hurricane's intensity had been overestimated, but the storm was so small that it missed key observation points throughout the Florida Straits.
