Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. West wind between 6 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Calm wind.

Forecast Details: .A weak middle level short wave trough was approaching from the northeast Gulf of Mexico early this morning with a broken band of strato-cumulus over much of northeast Florida. The blended total precipitation product actually indicated higher precipitable waters over northeast Florida (1 to 1.2 inches) compared to our Georgia zones (under 1 inch). Radar indicated a few rain showers were approaching the West Coast of Florida near the Suwanee River entrance. Updated the forecast to include a low chance of morning showers for our southern Florida zones as the middle level energy traverses this morning over the relatively moist air mass compared to recent days.

Farther upstream, stronger forcing and increased moisture associated with a deepening upper trough will approach our north Georgia zones later this afternoon where a low 20% chance of rain showers are advertised.

Highs will warm into the middle 80s today under west-southwest flow.

Today's Pollen Levels: 6.2 Medium (on a scale to 12); Predominate Pollen: Ragweed.
