Take a WALK on the WILDflower Side with us! Every Saturday in October and start at 9:00 am at Morningside Nature Center The Jean Dorney Memorial Wildflower Walks are guided by a Morningside Nature Center staff member. During the walk, participants will enjoy the spectacular fall wildflower bloom at the park. Each week, the walks will be different in focus. Please meet at the Education Office and wear comfortable walking shoes. It is also suggested to bring any guide that may be of use along the walk.
After the walk step back in time and join us for Living History Days when the farm comes to life with staff interpreting day-to-day life on a rural Florida farm. Sample biscuits, fresh butter and a slice of life from 1870! This free program runs from 9:00 am–4:30 pm, donations are appreciated.
