Today: Partly cloudy. A 20 % chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs around 90. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Forecast Details: 1000 to 700 MB mean ridge axis north of the area will keep low level flow out of the east/northeast. Middle to upper level ridge will remain south of the area with flow out of the west/northwest. This pattern will keep the atmosphere fairly dry and stable with little in the way of showers expected, although a few stray light rain showers cannot be ruled out from time to time. Precipitable waters will generally remain less than 1.5 inches but values will sneak up into the 1.5 to 2 inch range at times, associated with a weak surface boundary upstream, moves into the area. Then again tonight and Saturday along the East Coast as moisture convergence increases.
