Areas of dense fog will develop over northeast Florida this morning. Visibilities will be reduced to a quarter mile or less in some locations. Conditions will improve around 9 am.


Today: Areas of dense fog early in the morning, otherwise mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. Northeast winds 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Areas of fog after midnight. Lows in the upper 60s. East winds 5 mph.

Hazardous Weather Outlook: Areas of dense fog will develop early this morning over the area. Visibilities of one quarter mile or less are possible in some spots, especially in areas that received rainfall yesterday.

Forecast Details: dry air in middle and upper levels has spread across the area pushing shower activity south of the area. Slow moving surface cold front now located over southeast Georgia with lower dew points lagging back in central Georgia. Drying will occur over interior southeast Georgia today but will be limited over northeast Florida as front becomes diffuse. Will keep a small chance of showers today over Marion County as models continue to show marginal moisture/instability this afternoon. Quiet weather will dominate the next few days due to a dry northwest flow aloft. Surface high pressure will build into the Middle- Atlantic States producing a low level northeast flow. Daytime temperatures will not be as hot with readings at or slightly above average.

Today's Pollen Levels: 8.9 Medium High (on a scale to 12); Predominate Pollen: Ragweed, Grass and Chenopods.
