Alachua Audubon Society asks what better way to work off those Thanksgiving calories than to go birding? The La Chua trail is one of the area's best sites to see birds and other wildlife, this is a good time for sparrows, ducks and other waterbirds, and there are often surprises. And, of course, it's always a good time to see alligators.

Sunday, November 28 · 8:00am – 12:00pm at the La Chua Trail parking lot (From University Ave in Gainesville, go south on SE 15th Street; when the road curves left, go straight ahead down Camp Ranch Road.)

*there is a $2 per person fee to enter the La Chua trail.*
