Three Rivers Legal Services, a federally funded non-profit corporation (located in Gainesville, Lake City, and Jacksonville) offering free legal services to qualifying clients, has a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (partially funded by the Internal Revenue Service) for the sole purpose of providing FREE tax-related legal services to low-income eligible clients in Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties.

They handle state and federal tax controversies involving the IRS, represent clients in audits and appeals, and provide representation before the US Tax Court. They also provide educational services to clients with an emphasis on communities and individuals that speak English as a second language.
