November 26 - Pies and Pitchforks, A Community Garden Workday and Potluck: Bring your leftover pies from the holiday, or bake one of your favorite for the occasion, and come share some food and fun as we help the Downtown Farmers Garden get ready for winter.

The garden is located outside the County Administration building in downtown Gainesville, on the corner of S. Main and SE 1st Ave.). We will meet at 2:30pm in the garden to work and after our effort (~4pm), we will eat delicious pie and coffee.

Come ready to mulch, plant some winter vegetables and other gardening tasks. Wear close-toed shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and bring your gardening gloves and a garden trowel if you have one.
