The University of Florida will host a fundraiser on Friday in the University's auditorium. The fundraiser will benefit the Protecting Haitian Patrimony Initiative.
This initiative brings together international contributors to support libraries and archives damaged by the earthquake on Jan. 12.
Friday's concert will feature music and dance performances celebrating the African diaspora in Latin American and the Caribbean.
Tickets are $12 for students, $16 for general public. You can purchase tickets at the Phillips Center Box Office at 352-392-2787 or online at ticketmaster.com.
