Alachua Conservation Trust
This bear was photographed at a feeder near Prairie Creek in eastern Alachua County in May, 2009. There's a sow bear who has had a couple of dens of cubs just north of Newnans Lake in the past few years. The point is: Alachua County has the makings of a viable north-south corridor in the eastern part of the county.
