  • 1964 Rolling Stones 1st U.S. concert tour debuts in Lynn, Massachusetts (and they're still at it).
  • 1952 Maurice Olley of General Motors begins designing the Corvette.
  • 1928 Velveeta Cheese created by Kraft.
  • 1924 Snyder Act: U.S. citizenship granted to all American Indians (a lesson in immigration policy).
