More good news for the cat lovers, the fee to adopt cats will ONLY BE $5 on Saturday! That's right, thanks to UF's Shelter Medicine Club, you can bring a loving companion home for only $5. Not only that, you'll get a free bag of cat food! And, we'll be selling scratching posts for only $30. So you can get an amazing companion, a bag of food, a scratching post, and other goodies for only $35!

Adoptions begin at 9:30 on Saturday so come on by!

Alachua County Animal Services invites the public to the "Come Fall in Love Adoption Event" on Saturday, February 12, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Alachua County Animal Services Headquarters (3400 NE 53rd Ave, Gainesville).

All adoptions will be at Special Event Prices (dogs $45.00 and cats $33.00).

The event will include food, silent auctions, and area vendors.

Professional dog trainers will be on hand to answer questions and give advice.
