Now: dense fog with visibilities of a quarter mile or less will impact the area. Conditions are expected to improve as a cold front moves across the area in the morning.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Northwest wind between 7 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Patchy fog after 1am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 42. Light north wind.

Hazardous Weather: Patchy fog is expected late tonight with visibility occasionally 1 mile or less.

Forecast Details: A potent shortwave trough is over the Southeast over the Florida Panhandle with a surface front pushing through southeast Georgia and the Florida panhandle. Front appears to be near the southeast Georgia coast to the Big Bend area. Widespread showers and an isold rumble of thunder are over southeast Georgia and now moving into Suwannee Valley area. Forecast challenge overnight has been the dense fog which is being scoured out by the rain and the increase in southwesterly winds ahead of the front and most if not all portions of the advisory will be canceled soon.

Today/tonight, isolated to scattered showers will likely be ongoing early this morning over the central portions of the area as the front pushes through. As the trough pushes east mid level ridge will build in through tonight with clearing skies and cooler temperatures. Some prospects for fog tonight with dewpoints largely remaining in the 40s and light winds as high pres builds in from the north.

Today's Pollen Levels: 5.8 Medium (on a scale to 12); Predominate Pollen: Cedar/Juniper, Mable and Elm.
