Now: areas of fog will reduce visibilities to around one mile at times across northeast Florida. Motorists should drive with caution and allow extra time to reach their destinations.

Today: Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Areas of fog in the morning. Highs in the upper 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. A 20 % chance of showers after midnight. Areas of fog after midnight. Lows in the lower 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Hazardous Weather: areas of fog are expected again late tonight with local visibilities possibly below 1 mile at times.

Forecast Details: surface low that passed through the region is well northeast of the forecast area leaving a weak trough/frontal boundary through central portions of the area. Flow aloft is southwesterly with mean 500 mb trough position just east of the Mississippi Valley area. Moist low level, relatively dry air aloft and weak blustery winds has resulted in widespread fog for the region with advisory in effect. For now...have kept southern zones out of the advisory and will continue to monitor.

Today/tonight, fog expected to linger through middle morning hours with temperatures rising to near 60 to upper 60s. Partly sunny conditions expected in the afternoon. Secondary front is expected to push toward the forecast area later today with deep moisture increasing again. Best probability of precipitation chances will be tonight and tapering off toward sunrise Wednesday, with only 20-30% expected at this time.

Today's Pollen Levels: 5.4 Medium (on a scale to 12); Predominate Pollen: Cedar/Juniper, Mable and Elm.
