Tonight: Patchy fog after 1am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 53. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Forecast Details:. An inverted trough along Florida East Coast extends north into southeast Georgia. MSAS wind streamlines show convergence along Georgia coast where area of clouds and scattered showers are also observed. Models have backed off on quantitative precipitation forecast amounts and now suggest less than 0.01in along the coast this afternoon. Since there is also a patch of showers east of Canaveral, think it is prudent to keep low end probability of precipitation for coastal areas and adjacent waters. Have increased sky cover along the coast and other areas south of I-10 as there is a weak disturbance over central Florida.
