Today: Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming west between 6 and 9 mph.

Tonight:  Areas of fog after 5am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 58. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm.

Hazardous weather: patchy fog over inland areas will reduce visibilities to less than 3 miles. Visibilities will improve shortly after sunrise. Patchy fog is expected to develop during the nighttime hours with a few areas falling to below a mile visibility.

Forecast Details: strong upper low is presently located over southeast Kansas with dry southwest flow continuing across our area. Surface high pressure ridge is situated just south of the area with light winds across the region. Skies are clear across land areas with only a few sites reporting light fog. Isolated showers have developed near the Gulf Stream, well off the Atlantic coast. Temperatures range from the upper 50s over normally cooler inland areas to the middle to upper 60s along the coast. An upper low will move southeast toward the area through tonight while rapidly filling. As a result upper support for precipitation will wane as surface cold front pushes south toward the area.

Today's Pollen Levels: 6.7 Medium (on a scale to 12); Predominate Pollen: Ragweed, Grass and Chenopods.
