Forecast Details: Mid-upper level ridge is over the central Continental U.S. with sprawling surface high over Central Plains to Gulf Coast and eastern Georgia/northern Florida. Skies are clear and temperatures are unseasonably cool from about 45 to 55. Record lows are expected in some spots this morning.
The upstream middle-upper level ridge will shift eastward through the period resulting in continuation of a gradual warmup and dry conditions. Expect temperatures today near upper 70s near the coast to lower 80s inland. Cool again tonight and have gone with slightly cooler MAV guidance due to clear skies and light winds. A perfect radiation cooling night may lead to patchy fog for a few inland zones.
