The Civic Media Center and the Alachua Conservation Trust will host Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 16th, from 3 pm to 10 pm at Prairie Creek Lodge.

This event will celebrate the CMC's 17th year as a community resource in Gainesville. A donation of $10 to $15 is requested; there will be food, drinks, music, and the beautiful scenery of 1100 protected acres.

Why: To celebrate the fall and two great organizations with great people who are working to improve our community's social and environmental well-being

These two organizations working together is a great match. Both are involved and the acquisition, preservation, and making publicly available valuable resources, the CMC with knowledge and information, the ACT with land, wildlife habitat, and environmental education.
