Wednesday WX Outllook...

"Weather forecast for tonight: dark. Continued dark overnight, with widely scattered light by morning."
George Carlin

Today: Sunny, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming east between 6 and 9 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. East wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.

Today's pollen level: 3.9-Low Medium (on a scale of 1to12): predominate pollen: Grass and Oak.

Forecast Details: a large upper high covers the Gulf of Mexico and the southeast. MSAS analysis shows an east-west surface ridge bisects the local area. Unusually dry conditions with dew points in the 60s will continue today and likely into Thursday for much of the area. High pressure ridging at surface and aloft will suppress rain chances with less than a 10% chance through tonight. Highs will be in the lower 90s inland and upper 80s near the coast due to onshore flow. Tonight's lows will be near normal.

1989 - Severe weather abated for a date, however, showers and thunderstorms continued to drench the eastern U.S. with torrential rains. Milton, FL, was deluged with 15.47 inches in 24 hours.
