Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop late this afternoon and continue into the early evening. The storms will be initiated by the combination of an upper disturbance and the sea breezes. Most of the storms will be inland during the late afternoon and will spread to the coast during the evening. The main concerns will be frequent cloud to ground lightning and strong and gusty winds.
